This is for sponsorships for the Gwinnett County Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge. This challenge is put on to encourage children to continue reading and learning throughout the summer months while on break. We serve tens of thousands of students that enroll in this program at EACH OF OUR BRANCHES, and we give away different prizes for the different tiers that they reach. Prizes include, books, food vouchers, tickets to sporting evetns, etc. We are able to provide these awards thanks to our community partners. Please consider becoming one of our Summer Reading Program comminuty partner sponsors. Secure your sponsorship by Tuesday March 21st to be added to the T-shirt each youth will receive for singing up for this program.
We put on the Summer Reading program to help with Literacy and Education as over 52% of students do not read at their grade level. Each year that passes the number increases. We create this program to provide amazing prizes that are of interest to each youth to keep them engaged during the summer months and help them rewach their reading potential. This in turn will help them throughout the school year in continuing the journey of reading at a higher level, increasing their volcabulary. and set aside time for increasing study habits during the school year.
